Tender Manager

Position: Tender Manager
Location: Azadpur
Employment Type: Full-Time
Timing: 9.30 AM – 6.30 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Experience Required: 5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tender Management & Bidding:

·        Identify, track, and evaluate relevant government and private sector tenders.

·        Prepare, submit, and manage tender bids within deadlines.

·        Ensure compliance with all tender requirements and eligibility criteria.

2. Documentation & Compliance:

·        Prepare all necessary technical and financial documentation for tenders.

·        Coordinate with internal teams to gather product specifications, certifications, and pricing.

·        Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with tender guidelines.

3. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:

·        Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and consultants for quotations, approvals, and certifications required for tender submission.

·        Maintain strong relationships with government departments, PSUs, and private agencies.

4. Market Research & Strategy:

·        Conduct research on competitor bids, pricing strategies, and market trends.

·        Provide insights and strategies to improve win rates and expand participation in tenders.

·        Identify upcoming tender opportunities aligned with company offerings.

5. Reporting & Analysis:

·        Maintain tender records, submission trackers, and follow-up reports.

·        Provide weekly/monthly updates to management on tender status, outcomes, and pipeline.

·        Analyze success/failure rates and recommend improvements in the bidding process.

Key Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in tender management, preferably in manufacturing, electrical, or energy sector.

·        Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, GeM portal, and e-tendering platforms.

·        Excellent skills in preparing technical and financial documents.

·        Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·        Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online tender portals.

·        Strong communication and coordination abilities.
